Woman arrested under Terrorism Act

Officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command executed a search warrant at an address in north London on Thursday, 22 February.

The search was carried out under Schedule 5 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

A 63-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of arranging funds or property for the purposes of terrorism contrary to Section 17 Terrorism Act 2000.

She was taken into custody at a south London police station and was subsequently released under investigation.
