Man charged with rape and robbery in Shoreditch

A man has been charged following a stranger rape in Shoreditch on Saturday, 17 February.

Nayed Hoque, 20 (07.12.1997) of Little Ilford Lane, Manor Park, E12, was charged on Thursday, 22 February with two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of robbery.

All the offences relate to the same victim; a woman in her mid 20s.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 23 February.
