Headline: Murder investigation launched in Camden

A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a 55-year-old woman was found at a residential address at an apartment block at Bray, Fellows Road, Camden, NW3.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service at around 10:30hrs on Friday, 9 February, to reports of the body of a woman found inside a flat in Fellows Road, NW3.

Officers attended along with the LAS and found a woman suffering from stab injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin have been made aware.

Although police are confident they know the identity of the deceased, we await formal identification. A post-mortem examination will be conducted on Monday, 12 February, at St Pancras Mortuary.

Detectives from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command [HMCC] investigate.

There has been no arrest at this time.

At this early stage detectives retain an open mind as to motive.
