UPDATE: Man charged with Hackney murder

Detectives investigating the murder of Daniel Frederick, who was fatally stabbed in Hackney, have charged a man.

[C] Kacper Karasinski, 18 (3.10.99) of Mount Pleasant Lane, Hackney was charged with murder on Tuesday, 30 January.

He will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 31 January.

A 26-year-old man [A] who was arrested on the evening of Wednesday, 10 January on suspicion of murder was subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries.

A 16-year-old boy [B] who was arrested on suspicion of murder on the morning of Monday, 22 January was bailed until a date in mid-February.

On Monday, 29 January, a 41-year-old woman [D] was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has been bailed to a date at the end of February.
